段志蓉博士现任中国工商管理案例中心研究员,先后任教于清华经管学院金融系和创新创业与战略系,讲授国际商务、战略、营销、领导力、可持续发展相关课程,教龄逾二十年,历获清华大学教学成果特等奖、北京市教学成果二等奖,国家级一流本科课程等奖项。曾兼任清华大学海外宣传办公室副主任。段志蓉拥有清华大学工学学士、硕士,管理学博士,以及澳大利亚新南威尔士大学营销学博士学位。曾在美国沃顿商学院、哈佛商学院和澳大利亚麦考瑞大学担任访问学者。
案例成果:
2020年,与钱小军教授等合作的全英文《企业经营与可持续发展》课程案例教学方案参评Page Prize for Sustainability Issues,该教学方案包括6个课程定制案例及相应教学计划,总结自覆盖超过250名中外MBA和管理硕士学生的教学实践。
研究、教学及其他
段志蓉的主要研究方向为宏观营销学、战略、企业社会责任和企业国际化。她在Journal of Macromarketing等国际国内学术刊物上发表20多篇中英文论文,与澳大利亚新南威尔士大学Roger A. Layton合作的论文“对营销系统中品类组合的度量”在美国第36届宏观营销学年会上获得乔治•费斯克最佳论文奖。段志蓉是Journal of Macromarketing, Decision Support System等多份国际学术刊物,以及AOM,AIB,AMA等主要大型国际学术会议的评阅人,她于2019年获得AOM国际商务分部(IMD)最佳评阅人奖。
段志蓉博士还活跃在企业战略咨询领域,曾担任海龙集团咨询项目合作负责人、中国机械设备进出口总公司咨询项目合作负责人、麦肯锡咨询顾问公司“全球调查”项目外部专家,并在近年来主持了多个跨国中小企业的战略咨询项目。
Zhirong DUAN
Case Specialist, Case Editor

Dr. Duan Zhirong currently serves as a case specialist at the China Business Case Center. Before joined the Center, she has worked in the Department of Finance and the Department of Innovative Entrepreneurship and Strategy as a faculty member at the Tsinghua School of Economics and Management. For over 20 years of teaching in international business, strategy, marketing, leadership and sustainable development, she has twice been honored as an outstanding teacher and has been awarded multiple prizes for Teaching Achievements at university, municipal and national levels. She has also served as the Deputy Director of Tsinghua University's Overseas Communication and Outreach Office.
Dr. Duan holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering and a Ph.D. in Management from Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of New South Wales, Australia. She has been a visiting scholar at the Wharton School and Harvard Business School in the United States and Macquarie University in Australia.
Case Achievements
In 2020, the course "Business Performance and Sustainability" that she co-taught with Professor Qian Xiaojun was included in the competition for the Page Prize for Sustainability Issues. The course package contained six customized cases and corresponding teaching plans.
Research & Consulting
Dr. Duan's main research interests include strategy and corporate social responsibility. She has published more than 20 papers in academic journals. Her paper "Measuring Assortment in Marketing Systems", co-authored with Roger A. Layton, won the George Fisk Best Paper Award at the 36th Annual Macromarketing Conference in the USA. She has been a regular reviewer for several international academic journals such as Journal of Macromarketing and Decision Support Systems, and for major international conferences such as the AOM, AIB, and AMA, and won the AOM International Business Division (IMD) Best Reviewer Award in 2019.
Dr. Duan is also active in consulting. She has led a number of strategic consulting projects and has been an external expert for McKinsey & Company's "Global Champaign" Survey.
